Who We Are
Andrea founded Passion 4 Paws: Southern Arizona in 2018 as an approved 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue. Her mission was to save those most vulnerable to euthanasia from rural and larger shelters, and provide love, security, and healing for all animals while searching for their forever homes. Since 2018, Passion 4 Paws has rescued dogs from Mexico, taken in owner surrenders to prevent them from going to shelters, medical dogs, abandoned dogs in the community, and e-listed/Rescue Only dogs from Pima Animal Care Center (PACC). Andrea’s drive, personal passion, and care towards all animals in need has created a strong foundation for P4P to continue saving lives, build futures, and expand hearts by adding forever furry family members to homes.
Animals have always been a huge part in Andrea’s life and before starting P4P, she was actively involved with serving those in the community and surrounding areas. After retirement in 2006 and relocating to Arizona in 2008, she has been a volunteer for the nonprofit group Corona Cares (est.2010), which assists seniors in her community of Corona de Tucson by offering transportation to appointments, friendly phone calls, and pet assistance. Andrea is currently the President of Corona Cares.
